Game 7

I think a Game 7 deserves it's own thread.

Dan Crawford
Scott Foster
Monte McCutchen

Clearly at the top of their craft.

Mac and Pop already "engaged" with each other.

Based upon his Finals assignments over the past five years, Scott Foster is obviously considered by the league to be the top official in the NBA.

I expected Foster and Crawford. McCuthen has obviously moved into that stratus as well.

Certainly a sloppy first half.

The sequence with about 3:15 to go in the 2nd - several blocked shots underneath, followed by scramble and eventually MIA forcing a turnover...

...a classic example of (1) the physicality NBA'ers are expected to play through, (2) the physicality the officials are expected to allow, and (3) the unbelievable patience and judgement those guys have. Wow.

Dan Crawford has always been my favourite NBA referee - when JC was on game six, I figured DC would be crew chief tonight.

I agree. Foster is pretty damn good.
