Shoes
I was looking at the Reebok Zigs today and saw two different kinds. A running shoe and another that looked similar to a cross training. Can anyone give me specifics on what is the best shoe to buy?

Zigs, Is That a Popular Shoe to Get?
I don't know if anyone else wears Zigs, but mine, when I ordered them from Finish Line, were classified as:
"Reebok Zig Energy Men's Running Shoes". Just get them. (Use the "Search" function and you'll find zillions of responses to the question you've asked. Really, zillions.) |
Zillions ??? Really ???

I have the Zig Activate. I like them for walking and even jogging but NOT refereeing. They don't have very good lateral support and were causing my knees to hurt as they had to compensate for the lack of lateral support when I would turn and change directions. I switched back to my other shoes and my knees stopped hurting after games.
Again, they feel great until I worked a few games in them. I want to try the Energy model though. I've seen them and they do appear to have a lot more lateral support. Their construction should be more suitable to refereeing. |

Best shoes on the market for officiating. When you find them buy 2 - 3 pairs. They sell out quick... |
Anybody know what the best price to pay for the Zig energy is? And where can you find a size 10?

They are $85.99. Get um while they're available. I paid $100 for mine 2 years ago. |

Got them for $70 & free shipping on Amazon in the fall of 2011. |
Just got a pair from Purchase Officials. Every one in my association says they're the best they've ever had. I will soon find out.
