I have a foul b/c Plumlee jumps into the airborne shooter.

What is the NCAA rule regarding a goaltend in this situation? Was it because the ball had touched the backboard when Plumlee hit it? Did they award the 2 for goaltending?

Ball was not on it's way down so in HS, it's nothing...play on (aside from the contact).

GT was not called on this play.

If the ball is touched completely over the basket and it hits the backboard, that is a GT in NCAA rules. I am not seeing this as a GT at all as it looks like Plumlee took the ball to the backboard. Was that called BTW as it is not clear in the video if they counted the basket.

I also am not sold on a foul. It looks like player falling to the ground and I do not see much contact that put the shooter to the floor. I see a shooter knowing someone is coming at him and falls or is going to fall anyway. But it is certainly close and I see why the call was made live.

Peace

No goaltending - just foul on Duke

They did not call goaltending. They did call a foul on Duke. I don't have a problem with the call.

Good as called. Correct foul call and correct non-GT.
