AZ/OSU video request

Please, please, please somebody tell what the hell happened at 8:47 of the 2nd half.

AZ ball, Trail calls a foul adjacent to the 28' line when there is absolutely no contact between B1 and A1. Then the ensuing throw-in comes from the endline underneath the basket.

I am truly perplexed.

Then at 1:25 mark same official watches AZ guard mugged on his dribble and then finally blows whistle in scramble for loose ball.

Definitely not consistent, IMO.

Do you remember the time on the held ball call under the basket? I would like to see that again but did not note the time.

Peace

Why not. A1 jumps to shoot, B1 capps the ball, A1 returns to the floor with the ball. (yes, I know there was some movement of the ball after defender's actions)

I was once told directly by one of the officials who worked the Marquette/Miami game that those plays are held balls. And apparently a multple Final Four official working the AZ/OSU game has been taught the same thing. :D
