Opinions Of A Journeyman Varsity High School Official ...
1) Blocking foul. Defensive player moved shoulder into path of ball handler.
2) Play on. Ball was on the way up when it was blocked. |
1: Ayers gets himself straight-lined and doesn't see what the defender does with his upper body and the flop. To me it should have been a no-call.
2: Nothing to see here fellas. |
1) Blocking foul.
2) Good block. |
1. Blocking foul all the way. Defender keeps coming forward and the ball handler goes airborne and he is still moving to take away that spot.
2. Good block. Play on. Peace |
#1. Block
#2. Inconclusive...close either way. |
Gotta agree with y'all...
1. In the words of the boss - exactly "what the defender can't do", move into the offensive player. Lead just enough out of position that the call is basically a guess. In his defense, a pretty fast transition play, lots of guys are going to get caught on that one. 2. Very close, but GT would be a hair-splitter. Pass. |
