Video Request: Georgetown v. Florida GC (Video Added)
At about 10:54 in the second half.
There is a foul on a breakaway by a GT player that then results in a dead ball contact T from a FGC player. Good replays and good discussion point. And yes, please play the stupid comments from Reggie Miller. It needs to be heard for the stupid people out there. ;) Peace |

Good calls. The FF1 was a result of a bunch of previous BS between those two players. And I like getting the T for the push and nipping that situation in the bud.
Kept thinking the whole time Reggie Miller is such an idiot that he's making the other 2 broadcasters dumb as well. |
Reggis Miller did not make any stupid comments.

Neither tv angle gives a great view of the F1.

Reggie, the only reason he got "kicked" in the head was because your choir boy pushed the defender into him.

Reggie was incorrect about the kick in the head because it did happen because of the other stuff going on, but I do agree that this shouldn't be a technical. I see stuff in regular season games all season like this that isn't penalized.

Am I the only one who thinks this T could have been avoided if the official were a little more proactive? Seems like the calling official could have stepped in to prevent any action that would require a T. It was a hard foul that left the player on the floor. I was taught that on those types of plays, close down immediatly to prevent any escallation. The calling official seemed to just hold his call there while several players converged after whistle.
After failing to do this however, I guess the T makes sense. |
