This makes me wonder what, exactly, it would take before you would call a FF2 in a game?

Tossing this kid would have been the easiest call I made all year.

Not tossing him would belong on the "Worst call you ever made" thread.

Calling a real game in the first place.

So long, goodbye, Auf Wiedersehen to you.

A first this season?

This may be the first time I actually agreed with the commentary by the announcers ... textbook FF2.

Is this an attempt at sarcasm?

I'll agree "goonish" might be inaccurate..."Thuggish" might be more accurate.

Biggest think I noticed in that game was way too many whistles, not too many calls, just whistles. One official (or maybe more than one) seemed to blow his whistle 5-6 times on a lot of calls.

They also failed to properly award 2 points on that floater charge for UK where the shot was well away before the collision....early in the 2nd half.

And boy is UK bad this year. Ouch. Not good at all.

My thoughts on too many whistles. I am told the gym was full and loud so what might have been easily picked up on TV audio might have been hard to discern in person.

While in many cases it probably wasn't needed, it can be helpful. I am pretty sure you have experienced a loud gym or two ;) when you blow the whistle and the players kept playing since they could not hear it. It can help avoid ugly situations like this that might occur after the whistle.

Rodgers and Hammerstein. Now that's a team.

Yes...needed at times, but, if you watched the game, there were times it was definitely not needed.....way overdone.

Big crash, bodies down, obvious foul, everyone expects a call...tweet tweet...tweet tweet...tweet tweet...tweet tweet...then a call. Completely unnecessary.

WOW! Where's the smileyface to tell us you're being sarcastic? . . .
If you saw the end-line angle, you'd immediately agree with the FF2!
