We have two local high schools here in the area who pooled resources and bought pink uniforms for their girls programs. Each year they play a game that is used as a fundraiser for cancer research...get big donations from local companies, pack out the gym, have cancer survivors honored at halftime, etc.

The uniforms they bought are dark pink (?) and really light pink. The home team wears the light color, and visitors wear the dark. They alternate home and away each year.

Have worked that game the last two years, and we call them "light" and "dark". First time a ball got knocked oob, I hit whistle and called "Pink" and both girls headed over to inbound the ball...so light and dark seem to work well.

I had an observer tell me last week to use DARK and LIGHT...so from now on that's what I'm going to get in the habit of saying.

I'm sure Padgett would have preferred shirts and skins.
