Kudos

Here at the Wisconsin State Tournament (boys). Rich, don't know if you're here or not.

We've been seeing some great officiating all weekend. Kudos to the guys working here. Kudos to everyone who's working the state tournaments around the country. I know there are several here. There really are a lot of great officials out there.

Well done.

I conquer, watching most of the games on the channel 32. King vs Muktown was fairly physical, I thought the officials should of had more pushing, hold, and hand check fouls. However, they were consistent the whole game. How long realistically to work the state tourney?

You came and you saw, too, right? :p

Some of the guys I've seen here this weekend have looked really young. Granted I'm pretty far away from the court, so my eyes may be deceiving me. I don't really know if there's a good answer for how long it takes to get there.

Great line. I concur. :)

I was there watching all day yesterday. Our association had a suite, so I hung out there for the second and third session. Left at the halftime of the Mukwanago/King game -- I have some fairly random thoughts on that game I'll just keep to myself. :D

I had a girls sectional final today scheduled smack dab in the middle of the afternoon, so I wasn't able to get down today. Season over now. I'll watch the D1 game on TV.

That game was super physical, I thought there was a point of emphasis on hand checking

What do you think stiff or Rich?

I didn't see a ton of the Mukwonago/King game, but I definitely got a taste of how physical Muk is during the title game. Germantown struggled with it.
