Who gets the ball?

B1 hard fouls A1 push into the wall on a drive to the basket resulting in an intentional foul. A few seconds later A2 comes over to have some words with B1 and A1 gets whacked.

High School: Resume play after free throws with B getting throw in?

What happened last? You have a T so you shoot everything in the order it took place and since the T was the last thing to take place you give the ball to Team B.

Peace

I'm lost. Why is A1 whacked if A2 is having words with B1? Is A1 whacked with a T?

In general, Fed rules...administer in order of occurence. If T follow INT, B's ball at mid-court after free throws.

Back when I was coaching CYO, this was a no call on my player. He had to be helped off the floor, but no serious injury. Worst missed call I have ever seen.

So a player that fall hard to the floor must be have been fouled?

I had a kid last night that missed a dunk, feel on his back and he looked at me like he was fouled and it was my fault. How hard you fall does not mean you were fouled any more.

Peace

This statement should not have been removed from the NFHS rules book a couple of seasons ago in an editorial change. It provided good clarity.
