Another example of a timing error causing a huge mess at the end of a D1 men's game.
Crew elected to give the visiting team a second opportunity. No way that was proper application of the rules.
I have AP for possession as the horn sounded following the try and before any rebound. Throw-in will be at that end of the court with whatever time is restored on the clock.

What was the issue?

The timer (or one of the officials using PTS) incorrectly started the clock prematurely prior to a throw-in with less than ten seconds remaining in a tie game.
