Ah, I misread the original poster. I thought that the stumbler was the same as the shooter. My bad.

Interesting that you don't have an opinion on this, JR.
I have an opinion. I agree with mick's call.
There's no substitute for a great partner.
My point exactly.
Okay, Ill agree too, if you tell me what I'm agreeing with.

I solicited a groan-grunt from a coach that thought he was shootin' two. :)

I figgered that! :D:

Now.....what's the rest of the call if team B was in the bonus? Not in the bonus? Playing NFHS or NCAA rules?

PS-no need for mick to answer. He got it right.

What's with G1 and W1, etc.???? Is that a U.P. thing? ;)

W=>B (defensive team)

B in bonus:
NFHS - B1 shoots 1+1 (or 2)
NCAA - B1 gets the ball OOB (ball in team control).

B not in bonus:
Both - B1 gets the ball OOB.

It was Green and White, not Amber and Blueberry.

Mick, all the red tape is why I never went back to that camp. They can do better.

zebra44,

Y'only had to fill it out once, and you did that already.
Course, if they lost mine, I don't really care.

One of the neat things about filling it out was I had to get a Social Security card. I obviously knew my number, but I hadn't needed the actual card for 30-40 years.

Yer prolly golfin' too much anyway.

Why? Aren't you an independent contractor?

Mark,
In this instance, at this university, registered officials are required to fill out job applications and another 5 or 6 pages of information, to help out at their team camps.
I believe we are part-time university employees while we're there.
Dunno.
Maybe that's why I got a call that they needed some help.

A university down the road pays $12 cash.

mick

Does this mean you're in the state employee retirement fund program? Here in Oregon, that would mean big bucks.

For part-time employees, I believe we may not yet be vested.

But even as part-time, you should be covered by workers' comp. You did hurt your ankle, didn't you? http://www.deephousepage.com/smilies/mwink.gif

What's funny is that I was hit on the instep with a baseball by an errant pitch the day before and I wondered if I'd be able to work those JV games the next day.

The foot felt good all of hoop day, but it had maitained a strange color of rosey-maroon.
No brain ... no pain. ;)
