A Bob Jenkins sighting

At a sectional final tonight, cold night, packed warm gym. He was the Alpha tonight!

Bob, going to ask Jetmetfan to pull up block call early in the third:)

what did you think of that play? Yes, I'd like to see it again.

I'd also appreciate any other feedback you have (either here, or email it)

I was kidding a little. I was up in stands (RM side) on the end you called it, I think you were c? Looked like A1 dipped her shoulder and intiated contact, but B1 may not have had LPG.

You sold it perfectly, no drama, made it look like an easy call. Didn't see any beef from RM coach.

Did you warn F coach at some point in game?

I could go either way on it.

You have a great demeanor on the court and had a great game. Terrific atmosphere and crowd energy, and two skilled teams.

edit: regarding feedback, I got nothing as the saying goes and am hopefully going to copy your demeanor for my boys regional next week.

I was L. I had it as no LGP (never was facing the RM player)

Player from RM started to ask a question about it, and I told her I'd answer after I reported. Then, she didn't want to talk. RM coach asked if there was a problem, I explained, then he asked about the call. We agreed to disagree.

I did get the PC foul later in the 4th quarter.

I did warn the F coach.

Demeanor: Our role is really not that much different from (insert favorite play-by-play radio announcer here) -- we see the action, and then tell people what happened.

Saw the later PC, easy pickings.

Thought you had strongest game of crew. Didn't see much that I'd call differently from anybody.

Can you describe what you like to see, or stride for, in demeanor? I've been working on this and am curious what your idea of good demeanor is.

I've seen some guys that are almost too relaxed, like they are bored, which I don't like. There is a fine line between being relaxed and acting like you've been there before and looking like you are just plain bored.
