Ball Hits floor..
 
At a Breakfest club meeting of non officials and question was asked:

1) A1 launches a shot from half court and ball bounces on floor in the lane and goes into the basket?

2) A1 shooting Free Throw bounces ball on floor in lane and ball goes into the Basket?

Question: In the above do the baskets count? or since ball hit floor first on shot attempts..no basket?

I know this is like a game of stump the Ref:)

Zoochy is correct: #2 is a FT violation because the "try" did not either enter the basket or touch the ring before ending (by hitting the floor). 9-1-3

More like "Stump the Breakfast Club". No refs would get stumped by these questions.
