I can't see what the defense did wrong. And further to that, I can see what he did right: obtain LGP and take it in the chest. PC.

The only thing I think he did was exaggerate the amount of contact...as Duke players have a reputation of doing. Perhaps the official felt it was an exaggeration and, as some one here promote, tagged him with a block for trying to simulate the charge to a greater degree than really happened. It seemed he went down harded than he got hit. That doesn't really make it a block, by rule, but some like to call it that way.

In real time, I immediately said "Player control!" I was surprised by the block call but didn't rewind it to look again, since I would have been happy if both teams had lost! :D
