A1 is in the lane and takes a shot...B1 leaves his feet to attempt to block the shot but he remains Vertical. A 1 and B1 bump bodies.

Block on B1? or no call since B1 is vertical?

B1 is stationary and vertical, jumps straight up, comes straight down. No foul on B1.

If there was a bump, it was caused by the shooter moving into the defender.
It's either a pc, or since you said bump and not crash, probably a no call.

Agree it's a no call if it's a "bump". Just make sure you call this the same way for the rest of the game so you don't have some idiot on the bench (and I am not referring to a player or trainer) bleating "Caw it bof wayz" at you.

From what you described theire was contact defense was vertical any contact was on offense. If offensive player did not displace defensive player but bumped fell off balance put up weIrd shot its on him. Let em play through no whitslle. IncidentAl contact.
