70-footer for triple OT

This happened locally last week. This is in a tournament and this shot was at the end of the second OT and it send the game to triple OT. The Visiting team ended up losing something like 101-96 and the kid the made the shot had around 50 points.

I can honestly say that in my career I've had a tied varsity game decided by a 70+ foot shot. Greatest back and forth finish I ever saw and got to work.

Mr Padgett would not be happy about this!

Obviously there was a travel before that final shot. There was one just before the final shot at the end of the first OT and also at the end of regulation.

Anyone notice the trail's "chop in" just being a closing of his hand? He looked like he was going to be legit, too :(

That's all it takes for you to dismiss an official?

I don't know what the sentnce means, but that method of "chopping" is fairly common.

Sooooo...are you basing an opinion of his performance on a :10 clip and a clock chop? Legit? Huh?

Not at all. He looked poised, crisp and on top of the situation in that 10-second clip. I was just bummed about that one mechanic.
