New for me
 

Girls varsity. Not so good team vs not so bad team. We come out for warm-ups. I'm U so I've got home team (not so good team). They are doing layups. Once they finish the layups, they start practicing the flop. Yep, a dribbler would move towards the guard who would then flop backwards on minimal, if any contact. Then they changed roles. Then the next 2 went out and repeated. Once I figured out what they were doing I just took a step out there and said "Really ladies?"

End of 1st quarter, home team 0, visitors 25.

Between quarters I think to myself, who did I pissoff to get this game? No flops in the actual game. If they did I was going to call a block and tell them they need to practice more. :D

Only use that comment in boys games.

Back when I was coaching middle school basketball, we had a drill where players practiced taking charges. Until a player broke a wrist falling backward. Nevermore.

Maybe that tactic was not game-ready yet.
