What is no one was around him? Would you have anything?

Peace

More likely given the swing-and-turn (as I recall -- I didn't go back to the video)

Not me. Not even a second thought. He changed directions, but it was fairly quick. Given these kids need to land, I'm giving every benefit of the doubt to the player.

We had a player hang on the rim last week after a missed dunk -- he really didn't have a lot going on around him, but he wanted to be sure he didn't land on someone -- he carefully looked around himself before simply dropping straight down. No showboating, change in elevation, or change in direction.

I was perfectly fine with this, as was my partner. The other coach, though, wasn't -- he ended up picking up a technical foul from my partner for his trouble. I think a good part of this came from the fact they were getting waxed at the time, though.

Closest thing to a T would be for taunting on his last dunk. Lot of jawing going on after the play.

Check out 2:58, looks like someone included a player-control foul in a highlight reel!

Edit: Also check out 8:02, from the sound of the whistle I surmise he got a tech for that.

If we are looking at the same thing (Part 1 8:02) then the answer is no. He did not say or do anything. He just ran up the court.

Peace

You got nothing for hanging on the rim?

Me.....probably not. It was very brief and nothing unusual for a basic dunk. It looked more like the result of letting go with one hand slightly before the other or not actually getting the rim frimly with both hands. Nothing wrong with that.
