Floor Spots

Just saw this..

Throw in on the endline. Team A lines up perpendicular to the endline about 5 ft off the endline. Team A is lined up so they are back to front. Team B wants to get a spot in between A1 and A2. A players don't move. Lead says they have to give a spot to B. Trail says no they don't.

7-6-5 says if they line up parallel within 3 ft of endline and are shoulder to shoulder they are granted a spot. If it is more than 3ft away from the endline, team B request is denied.

Couldn't find anything about perpendicular in the book. Any thoughts on how to handle this.

Request denied. You can't build a wall but you can stack.

If perpendicular, the defense does NOT have the right to get in between.

Trail and (especially) lead should review the book.

During a game, use rock, paper, scissors to decide (or any other method that works for you -- defer to the R, defer to the most senior, defer to the administering official, ...)

True; however, I was pointing out how I remember the structure (i.e. you can always stack).

Gotcha. Just couldn't find it in the book.
