What direction do we go.....
 
I watched a varsity game the other day and for some reason the officials could not get right the direction each was going to go. There was always a discussion. We have 4 8 minute quarters.

Team A 1st quarter basket is opposte their bench as so Team B. 2nd quarter one official pointed to the same direction as the 1st quarter. Coach screams say we are going the other way as to have his team on the offensive end in front of his bench. Officials huddled saying that 3rd and 4th quarter, teams will play their offensive end in front of their bench. Start of each quarter had no continuity. Anyone experience this?

It's amazing how a coach can put so much doubt in our heads that we can even get this wrong. It might be the NBA rule, though (switch directions each quarter instead of just each half).

Nope...NBA you go one direction one half and the opposite direction the other half.
