Mechanics Question

Does anyone use the mechanic of reporting the number of the offending players to the bench with the hand closest to the division line? Or is someone blowing smoke up my ...?

Never heard of it. I have enough problems working with the same hand.

Heard of using your dominant hand, and using the hand on the side that corresponds to which team fouled, but never anything based on division line.

Never heard of such a thing.

The ONLY official mechanic which is related to using a specific hand relative to the division line is when the trail (2-man) is counting 10 seconds on a FT and chopping time in on a FT.

Sounds like someone found something they do and tried to put that off on everyone else.

I am still trying to make sure my 3 attempt signal is with my "trail" hand, but sometimes it just doesn't happen that way. I don't beat myself up about it, however, I am doing it *most* of the time. Sounds like a "try this because it works for me" suggestion.
