NFL Presents
If you guys get a chance to see the rerun of NFL Presents for this week, they do a story on NFL Referee Gene Steratore (and his brother are in the piece) about his officiating life on some level. It is a great piece IMO because Gene is also a D1 official and he talks about the balance between the two sports. It usually comes on again during the week from ESPN and later with NFL Network. Check your local listing and a great piece about an official and an officiating family that happens to be brief.
Peace

Just watched it. Certainly worth the time.
(A buddy's son called me up and said, "Hey Mr. G, turn on the NFL Network. You're gonna like this").

Hope it's shown again. I'm going to search and record it.
There's a good one featuring and ECHL/NHL and established NHL ref that was shown a month or so ago. I also recorded an MLB Network special on the 2011WS crew that follows there pathway to and in the playoffs, as well. Haven't watched it yet. |

Here's a link to the Steratore piece. Not sure if this is the whole thing, as it seems to end somewhat abruptly:
