He travelled when he first go the ball -- lifted the pivot foot before starting the dribble.

He did not travel on the jump stop.

Travel at the beginning of the dribble...nothing at the end.

Same here. Right call, wrong timing.

You could even argue he traveled twice....at the beginning by starting the dribble after lifting the pivot but again at the end when he caught the dribble with both feet on the floor (barely) then jumped and landed.

You could almost(hard to judge from the desk) that you could have a held ball here. Hard to tell if he was forced down or if the ball left his hands from the video.

if you watch Mike Kitts work games, this is an area that he struggles with...traveling.

This may be a dumb question but...."Did he have a pivot foot to lift before he started a dribble??" When did he establish pivot foot??? did he release ball before he established pivot foot?? and does it matter in this case??

---Caught the ball with one foot on floor, pivot foot is established when other foot touches in step---

Most definitely...he had a pivot foot. The pivot foot is established when the other foot touches in a a step and it easily did that. It was his left foot when it was at the corner of the FT lane (25-26 sec. mark of the video).

That's what I had. Left foot was the pivot and he lifted it before he released the ball on the dribble.

Travel no the initial move though it is hard to see when the gather or control takes place from the angle on the video.

Once he's dribbling and jump stopping I've got nothing.
