Over and back??
 

Ball is being in-bounded side frontcourt...thrown towards centerline where player A of offense tips the ball while standing in frontcourt to backcourt. Same player then gains possession of ball in backcourt with a dribble, with no one else touching the ball. Player never had "possession" in frontcourt. Is this still over-and-back??(Highschool)

No. It's a legal play.
