Mavs v. Celtics: Block/Charge

Was asked to post this play:

Good call! In the path, two feet down, moving laterally/away.

Took the contact in the chest and looks like a shoulder dip by the dribbler.

Peace

It is hard to tell from this angle precisely when contact first occurs, but check out the footwork of the defender by the lines on the floor. At contact I believe he is still moving toward the dribbler. I have a block.

I would never presume to claim how this play should be officiated in the NBA.

In my games, this is a PC every time, for the reason Camron pointed out: the guard obtained and maintained LGP and took contact in the torso.

The angle doesn't afford us much of a view of the extent of contact, which is my only concern about the call.

No such animal as a player control foul in NBA games.

(Doesn't agreeing with VG imply you are likely incorrect? )
