Exclamation GIGDGO - (107-2) Beats My Record!

I had an infamous GV game last year that was 105-14. I know how this crew feels.......

107-2 -- Bloomington South girls' basketball team beats Arlington - ESPN

At least they got two. I've yet to be involved in a shut-out, and really, really don't want that to happen.

I've been involved in one shutout, granted the kids were 8 and the final was 4-0

Palermo told him that a man wearing Yankee pinstripes in front of 30,000 people should not end a sentence with a preposition. So Pinella, no dummy, said, "OK, where was that pitch at, a**hole?"

LONG time ago, I had a shut out. It was also a girls game. It was a Girls Freshman team versus a Girls JV team. The Freshman Team won 89-0. YES, that JV team was that bad. There must have been 20 completely unforced turnovers. We did send some kids to the line (neither team was ever in the Bonus, and this was when you went to the Bonus on 5), but to no avail.

Several years ago, the local CYO -- in it's infinite wisdom -- placed an all 6th grade boys team in a division of teams made up of mostly 4th & 5th graders. My alma mater lost their opener to the all-6th graders, 46-0.

Now you have a record to aim at in your upcoming game.

I have the same team tonight. They've won two of their three games by over 50 points already this season.

First set of games I did on the season was a girls freshman/jv doubleheader. Freshman game the home team scored 6 or 7 points I think. JV game, home team scored 1. That was on a free throw (obviously) in the first quarter. Thank goodness for the running clock in the second half of both of those games.
