I'm am going to break down and give these a try. Since I am part of the generation that wants things now - does anyone know of a location in the LA area that stocks these? I will be there soon for some games and would buy them in person as opposed to ordering online.

There is a reason they are always on back order, arguably the best shoe out there. I'm on my third pair. Two patent leathers and the hard to find leather version which maybe discontinued.

No pain, no soreness.....a treat for the feet.

Love them....had a pair of Pentagons last year. Had heel problems and they were just too stiff. Awful. Sold'em on eBay for $20. Haven't had any problems this year. Seem to be the choice of shoe around here.

I have the patent leather Zigs too and I love them. They are the best shoes I've worn to date. For my next pair I want to find some leather Zigs because I'm not crazy about the patent leather. I actually like the look of the Air Max shoes better but I'm not spending $160 for shoes that I only wear to referee in and that only last a year or two. I have a pair of Nike iD Air Max shoes that I customized that I wear for casual use.

I've had high school kids and adults, at games, say, "hey, ref. nice shoes!". No lie. :)

I started looking for these in a size 14 two months ago. Nowhere to be found. Anyone have any idea where I could find a pair? My old New Balance 620s have seen better days.

Did that make you feel good? If so, how do you feel when they say you are horrible?

This is a warning. Once you put them on, you wont take them off. :):)

I sure wish they made them in a wider width. Oh well, New Balance it is for me.

They do look kind of silly when wearing them at the beach. I wish that they came in white to wear before Labor Day.
