Fumble or Violation
 

player A is dribbling up the court
player A grabs the ball with two hands and begins motion to pass the ball forward
ball slips form player A's hands during this action
player A retrieves the ball which is 3' ahead of player A

fumble or violation?
what would change your mind to make it opposite of what you would call?

"slip" = fumble, imo.

But, I have to be sure it was a slip and not just a poor pass. Benefit of the doubt goes to the violation.
