Another first for me
Basket Interference so obvious, we had a triple whistle! And no, I was not the Lead.

Is it always the Trails call or does the C ever get that?

Nice...but I can beat that. JV boys last night...working with 2 partners who are both doing their first "real" three person game. We had a triple whistle on a travel in the key (just below the free throw line).
They were all freaked out about it in the locker room and worried about who messed up...I just kept laughing about it and told them they did a nice job for their first game. |

Similar situation except with two very experienced partners. Triple whistle at the same spot; one PC foul, one Block and one Travel. |

If your partners really want to learn, bring it up in the locker room in the form of a question..."Hey, I am really struggling with a play we had. I think it should have been my call, but I am not sure..." |

Edit...On a serious note, once the travel was introduced, this one actually requires a discussion as that can supersede the others if it happened first....getting everyone out of the mess. My guess is that the travel happened first because the official calling the travel probably saw contact (which ever way it could have gone) and ruled that the travel happened before the contact making any judgement on the contact moot. |

At the next opportunity we discussed it to see what the other two guys had - one was going PC and the other Block. Travel was the easy way out of that. The play was right on the free throw line midway across. |

Which coincidentally only rears its ugly head in three-person games. Never seen one in a two-person game! |
