Happy Thanksgiving ...

BillyMac

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good. (Psalm 100:4, 5a)

Mark T. DeNucci, Sr.: Is it true that Myles Standish was your first partner, with both of you officiating a lacrosse game between the Pilgrims, and the Native Americans, in 1621?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope that your leftovers are just as tasty and that the less fortunate have a meal as well.

Actually, I read in the box score that his partner was John Alden, who was a coopersmith (barrel maker) and was responsible for bringing over tons of beer from England on the Mayflower. I bet they had a great halftime. 😉

If they had croquet back in 1621, I'm sure that you would have been there to officiate the match. Am I right old timer?

Actually, I did officiate some croquet matches in the 1900 Olympics. That's me in the background with the cool hat.
