Double Dribble/Control Question
 
A1 dribbles. Stops. Picks up the ball with both hands. B1 slaps the ball into the air but A1 catches it without moving his pivot foot.

Has player control ended? There was a period when he wasn't actually holding the ball. Book says PC exists while holding the ball.

Can A1 dribble after getting control of the airborne ball?

Yes...

EDIT: Also, if A2 had fouled B2 during this "slap"...it would be a TEAM CONTROL foul on TEAM A.
