Only 5 T's Tonight

Coachwhack, two playerwhacks. grabrimwhack, DOGwhack. Other than that, pretty normal game with only two double fist calls.

Your quota has been fulfilled for the rest of the month.

SCalScoreKeeper Sat Nov 17, 2012 01:41am

Me thinks his seasonal quota has been fulfilled!

grunewar Sat Nov 17, 2012 07:20am

Way to go Gapper!

Welcome to a new season!

26 Year Gap Sat Nov 17, 2012 09:22am

Not what you think

I only had one of them. But the game began an hour late as compensation.

No, only his quota for one quarter, based on my experience. :p

JRutledge Sun Nov 18, 2012 01:39am

What is with all these Ts in scrimmages? Isn't that supposed to be a laid back game?

Peace

DLH17 Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:10am

One would think.

I worked a scrimmage Saturday for the new HS association I joined. Observer said the policy up there is that a T against a coach terminates the scrimmage. I like that policy.

fullor30 Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:35am

Ha, Reffed my son's varsity scrimmage and one of my partners gave him an IT on a breakaway.......richly deserved!

grunewar Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:38am

You're too old school (not the person)

C'Mon JRut, don't you know how important it is to go "undefeated" in pre-season scrimmages?

Does this mean that welpe can't stand up for the rest of the season?

We don't generally work intrasquad scrimmages here. It's more like a preseason jamboree, where half a dozen schools converge.

Still way more laid back, though.

School cannot play each other here until the season starts. There lies the difference.

Peace

Yes, but enforcement is up to his wife.

Bad Zebra Mon Nov 19, 2012 12:12pm

Did anyone tell them it's not a football game?

Holy Crap! Where was it? And if my calendar's correct...that was a pre-season game. That's a heck of a way to start a season. Hope it's not an omen.

True, that is the law of the land. However, I've never heard of it actually happening. I did have a V scrimmage in my first season after moving up that one of the AHCs needed to be reminded of that very policy. Go figure!

Adam Tue Nov 20, 2012 12:20pm

What's an AHC?
