NCAA-W, Resuming play after 2 T's
I think I am over analyzing this situation but here it goes. This weekend we were working a NCAAW game and our R calls a T on a visitor. As we go to the line, I am getting ready to administer the free throws and the coach says "we didn't F'n pay all this money to drive here to get screwed by that guy".........referring to my partner so I susequently call a T on the coach. So we shoot the 4 free throws and were weren't sure where to put the ball in play. We went back to the POI from the 1st T, but that had me wondering if it would change since the 2nd one occurred on our way to shoot the original throws.
I have been looking for this specific play in the CB and can't find it. I'd love some light shed on this for me. |
You're right.

What other choices were you contemplating?

why would this not be visitors ball at midcourt since the second T is an unsporting act?

i thought ncaaM for an unsporting T the ball is midcourt to the opposition? It has been 4 years since i did look at a ncaa rule book.

Most Ts in the NCAA resume at POI after the FTs. We give the ball to the offended team
in NCAAM: at the division line after a single contact dead ball T or a single flagrant 2 T in NCAAW: at a designated spot nearest to where the ball was located after a contact dead ball T, a single flagrant 2 T, or an excessive timeout T. |
