Further, you ask only whether the ball can be handed to another player, not whether it's legal.

Thrower-in-er A1, who is out of bounds with the ball, holds the ball across the boundary line plane at which point defender B1 grabs the ball out of A1's hands and dribbles away. Legal?

Good point.

You would be surprised at what I'm capable of doing now that they're new sheriffs in town who, collectively, won't allow me to to post off topic posts, images, or videos. I feel like I'm being watched all the time. I understand that the new moderators have been given access to a couple of black helicopters.

Not enough information to answer.

If it's a "run the endline" throw-in, and the teammate is out-of-bounds along the endline, then it's legal.

Further, you ask only whether the ball CAN be handed to another teammate (I assume you mean one who is also a player), not whether it's legal. 😉

Oh no, I could lose on a technicality. He can do it! 😀

Then it's working. My helicopter's in the shop, though.
