Now, with the Damon arrest, the Blazers announced today that they are changing their logo. The new one appears below:

Yesterday, they laid off about one-third of their staff. They said it was a cost cutting measure. This from a team that's paying Shawn Kemp millions to play for Orlando!

One local sportwriter had for his headline: "Blazers lay off wrong employees".
