Has anyone found any good software for sports officials? I am looking for something that will help me track--

Game schedule
Game fees
Expenses of all variety
Assignor and other contact information
A journal for tracking my personal progress
Other useful "stuff"

If so, did you find it useful? If not, why not?

Our association decided to replace our old assigning software (I.E. pile of garbage) this year. After much investigation, we decided to buy the assigning software from Sportspak. http://www.sportspak.com/ For our purposes, it had the best functionality and ease of use.

Thank you, zebraman. I am actually looking for something for my personal use, rather than association/assigning kind of use. I guess I didn't make that very obvious

BITS: I will check on my home computer tonight and see if I have something you can use. I picked up an Excel spreadsheet program that someone posted (thought it was on here) and it keeps everything automatically. I used it for the 2001-2002 season and it worked well. Thought I had on my work computer, but apparently not.

Just a correction on that thread that Chuck posted. If anyone is interested in my software it is available at http://www.officialssoftware.com instead of the site listed in the thread.

Also, I am offering practice sports quizzes for officials for FREE from my web site. Go to the other products link and send an e-mail.

Officials Software

Rick,

I ordered your software for the Palm and paid via PayPal but couldn't download anything other than the trial version. I used the trial version last year and liked it and you can't beat the price of $5. How do I get the full version? For some reason I couldn't send an email from your website because my "default mail client is not properly installed" (working from my home computer).

MRegor - I just sent you an e-mail about the Registration. If you do not have the latest 'trial' version, let me know. You will need that with the Registration.

Excell-ent?

Mark:

Do you use Excel as anything other than a database? Do you make it at least pretend to think?

I created a template that has formulas in it that calculate total game fees during a pay period and total games worked at different rates (we pay more for HS level).

Also, I make out the game schedule for the league and I put a grid into Excel to come out with a balanced schedule. However, I manually insert days, times and gyms.

I've been doing it so long, it's relatively easy for me.
