Hate to say it,Chuck(seriously),but Pedro is starting to remind me of Ron Guidry.Both had great stuff and and were almost unhittable for a few years,but both were really too small and fragile to be power pitchers.Pedro can still bring it,but he can't bring it all the time,because he's always breaking down.Guidry was exactly the same.Too bad,too,because they were both great to watch when they were on.

The tough decision now has to lie with the Sox's GM,I think.Do you give Pedro a big,new contract and hope that he doesn't break down completely before it's over? Or do you try to trade him to get something for him,or,alternatively,let him walk and maybe sign 2 or 3 pitchers for what you would have to pay him? The GM's also gotta worry about fan backlash,because Pedro is popular,too.

Of course,George might decide he wants him.:D
