I checked over here to see if any hoop junkies had heard about his passing. Remember reading years ago in my Jr. High paperback book club in the 60's about him. He became Maurice Stokes legal guardian for health insurance reasons. One heck of basketball player, and wasn't too bad as an announcer in the old grainy black and white days.
