All standard stuff.

Sadly, there's always one or two guys locally that are the exception.

Thank you for posting.

My thought is that none of this is worth the hundreds of dollars it costs to be a member of some club.

This is part of the Court Club. I'm sure that the advice isn't given for free.

I do not know what you mean by the "court club" but if you we are independent contractors in the truest form of the definition, then to get instruction or training from folks in the industry, you will likely pay something for that. If you work as a Real Estate or Insurance Agent the company that you are working with is not paying for those kinds of trainings or materials either. I am sure you get post cards from someone trying to sell you a house or sell you some insurance, the likelihood the mailing was paid for by the agent and not the company that their name is on the top. If you want to get to a certain level, you pay for trainings. Not all camps are to be apart of a club. Also John Adams was at this training/camp and I can tell you from experience that John used to run camps for $50 every summer and he was at the time just a conference supervisor.

I think this is Ed Rush's Court Club or whatever it's called. I'm not sure but he makes a reference to "Court Club" in the video. I think I recognized a few NBA refs in there.

Thanks. Perhaps if a few people say the same thing the light bulb will come on in Rut's head.

Well maybe if you were clear then people would know what you are talking about. There was nothing in this video that suggested what camp, club or training this was. And Jay said, "I think...." I just saw John Adams there and know he is from Indianapolis where this appeared to be taped. And my comment still stands, it is a training and officials pay for trainings in my experience even at the HS level.

Peace

St. Joseph's against Drexel won't usually be played in Indy.

There is a school in Indiana called St. Joesph at the D2 level, not everyone's consciousness is going immediately to be in one region of the country, where you do not live or have any contact. At the time watching these videos, it was not clear what camp this was, when it was held and who was teaching. Also the NCAA video this past year used video at a D2 school in Indianapolis and used officials that for the most part are not D1 officials as there example (one got hired this past year I believe) for the RA usage. Any team in the A-10 would not be on many folks minds from this part of the country. Honestly the most famous St. Joesph I know is a HS that was featured in the movie "Hoop Dreams."

Peace
