Rays are 1-0 after Rivera blew a save opportunity. Carlos Pena hit a grand slam and got the GW hit in the ninth in his return to the Rays.

Actually, he was wearing a suit and tie, so it pretty much was in black & white.

And, since this is really a baseball thread, I could also tell about how I "worked" with Billy Williams of the Cubs way back then, too.

When I was a kid, I played shortstop and had a Luis Aparicio model glove. He was my baseball idol.

My team is pathetic, but Sox Fans have an inferiority complex. They're more worried about what the Cubs do than the fortunes of their own team. Cub Fans don't give a **** about the Sox.

You know what's the best thing about going to a Sox Game?

Ah. The Cubs. Not only was their last win in black & white, but it was not even a talkie.

Nice tooth.
How do you know that the toothbrush was invented in Arkansas?

Because if it had been invented in any other state, it would be called a teethbrush.

That's because the games are so exciting everyone stands.

BTW - Sox fans are educated, so we know that "noone" is actually two words.

First time the Sox have started back-to-back seasons at 0-3 since 1933. First time the Sox and Yanks have started 0-3 in the same season in about 50 years. Ugh.

Ah the Giants throw away a 6-0 lead and lose 7-6. Torture ball is back.

Bizarro Stat of the Day......

Tonight, against the Orioles, Yankee pitcher Freddy Garcia through FIVE wild pitches through six inning.......last year he had four all season. Cold night, slick ball?
