If you ignore the charge as the lead did, the OOB direction appeared to be correct.

imho, that's a PC foul.

bainsey Fri Mar 30, 2012 11:43pm

Charge.

True. Better to have a whistle on that play, though I think. Good defense gets penalized, there's enough contact, and that guy definitely is not flopping.

I think that's one of those plays where you can have a whistle and never get an argument.

Absolutely agree....i was trying to deliver that meaning with some form of literary subtlety and cleverness that has never been my strong suit. (Where's my buddy the writer when I need him?)

I understood you, Camron. Though I'm up at 3 AM so my standards may be low :D

I personally would have had a charge, but it's not the worst no call in the world.

JRutledge Sat Mar 31, 2012 02:54pm

PC foul all the way. I think you cannot pass on that amount of contact and a player falling to the floor.

Peace

I can live with that no-call. First contact was with the ball to B1's torso. Can live with a PC also.

HUH? I would have easy PC here, L took the chicken-way out with OOB.

As a dribbler, am I allowed to bowl through a defender (established LGP) provided I lead with the ball rather than the elbow/forearm seen here?

If so, cite NFHS?

Show me a cite that says knocking someone down with the ball is a foul.

Touche!
Fair enough. (Setting aside intentional/flagrant/USC).

As for OP, I still see PC.

Plus, I said I would have no problem with a PC call either. Just to me the main contact was from the ball hitting B1 which got him off balance.
