That play was correct. There was a foul call a few minutes earlier where Hightower made the call from the Lead across the paint on a what looked like a clean block by Norfolk St. Don't have a timestamp for it though. I'll check the play-by-play and see if I can find it.

However on the OOB play, he nailed it - IMHO - despite being out of position.

As I stated in my initial request, I thought the play was legal, but why Hightower would stand 6-8 feet inbounds while thrower has the ball is baffling. Looks extremely lazy and definitely poor positioning for an end line decision. He's just about even with the C. Ouch!

anyone have the final throw-in by Missouri? Timeout was called with 2.9 inside the key right around the foul line (per the lovely throw in diagram, ball should have been inbounded in the backcourt on the end line, right?)...any guess as to why ball was inbounded in backcourt on the sideline??

Nope, that's still wrong. The diagram extends well outside the lane. Still should have been unbounded on the end line. They just got it wrong.

Possibly a good point to emphasize teamwork by a crew...non-calling official might have helped by observing ball location after partner hit his whistle.
