I would like to get your thoughts on 3 different situations where call over and back should/should not be called..
1. A1 in BC, pressure, passes ball to A2. A2 in FC jumps, catches ball and then lands in BC. 2. A1 in BC, pressure, bounces ball to A2. A2 was in FC, moves towards the ball, secures ball with one foot in FC and then other foot comes down in BC. 3. A1 pass ball to A2 who is standing with one foot in BC and other foot in FC. He lifts foot in FC. Remember the 3pt rule regarding over and back only applies to someone dribbling the ball. Enjoy your weekend!! JLK |

1) Violation. "You are where you were." A2 caught the ball while location was in FC and then landed in BC.
2) Violation. A2 was in FC when he/she caught the ball and then went to BC. 3) Assuming that A1 was in BC (you didn't specify), no violation. A2 caught the ball while in BC and when lifting the FC foot, A2 is still in BC. Z |
