Point or No Point?
Just curious, when you T someone up, do you point at them after you make the T signal or not?
Is it considered too "showy" to point? |
I only point to the coach or bench if I call a T, but do not know necessarily if that is a good or bad thing. It just something I do when I report to the table. Otherwise I do not "think" I point at the player on the court as usually I do not get tape of these situations.

If I pointed every time I issued a T, my arm would have to go into rehab.

Occassionally. Situational.

Hells yeah, but first I windmill! Left hand swing . . . . right hand swing . . . then gently touch right hand fingers to left hand palm. WHACK! ::p,
I rarely call T's and believe it or not am expecting one tomorrow night. Don't want to hijack, but do you always whistle before whacking? |

I don't point. Could add it to my tool box, though.

If it's a group of players then I will point out the culprit(s). But if it's obvious to all in the gym then I don't.

As BNR says, I point if it is not obvious. I've found usually it is obvious. |

I rarely point, because as Welpe mentioned, it's usually obvious. |

I don't believe there's a specific mechanic mentioned in the manual, right? |

Next Time, I'll Pay Attention ...
I'm not sure that I even put up the "foul fist" when I charge a technical foul on either a player, or a coach, I just blow my whistle and give the "T" signal. In fact, I'm not even sure that I blow my whistle most of the time. Now, where are my house keys?
