Wonder What Happened

I used to like watching games with Jay Bilas as the color; but this guy is just as bad as anyone else now.

It makes me wonder if someone at ESPN didn't approach him and say their focus groups show higher popularity for him when he criticizes the officials.

He was particularly stupid in the OSU/Michigan game tonight.

That and "he got away with a walk" which was shortly after "I didn't see him walk" (separate plays). And when Craft jumped into the Michigan defender and didn't get a call, Bilas was as incredulous as Craft.

I watch about 25% of the games I used to, and I watch 99% of those games with the sound way way down. Both of those are directly influenced by the quality of the announcing.

Bilas may not have been correct in all situations last night, but he certainly was correct that there were several instances were fouls were not called when they should have been.

I'm probably at about 10%, and normally have it low enough that it doesn't bug the family. I was alone with this one. Won't do that again.

Is that a paradox or an oxymoron?

You maybe right, half the fun for general audience is to second guess the officials.
