I Blame All You Guys

After it got discussed here so thoroughly, I had it happen last night.

2 whistles, FG game. I'm lead.

A1 drives the lane from T's side, and goes up for a layup and throws up an air ball. She crosses the lane (her momentum carried her on through), and gets the rebound right in front of me.

Me: "O_O"

I approach my partner and ask what she did wrong. We discuss briefly, and reverse the call. First half, so the closest coach wasn't happy.

I said, "coach, it was a shot, and she can get the rebound."
Coach: "I know, but he made the call."
Me: "Coach, we discussed it together and got it right."
Coach: "Ok." He let it go, to his credit.

"We" discuss briefly

Did you then allow your partner to reverse it?

I'm guessing that Snaq was more experienced that his partner and by "we", he means that he made sure the call was reversed. ??

Everybody else blames us. Why should you be any different?

Not sure if I was the more experienced or not, but yes.

It didn't look good, but there's no way to get out of that looking good.

You're welcome.

That was in response to you yelling "Where's the flag ref?!" at a varsity scrimmage last year. I'm sure it was you.
