3-Person Mechanic Question

For the opening jump ball, the U1 stands in front of which bench on the table side, home or visitor? Is there a diff between NFHS and NCAA men?

For the jump, U1 stands to the R's Left as the R is facing the table. This could be either the home or the visitor's bench.

Same in NCAA and FED.

...you sure about that?

I thought the U1 stood opposite the visiting teams bench and the U2 stood opposite the home bench.

NFHS

EDIT: Found it...Official's Manual...3.1.4 A/B/C

That's during the warmups. The OP asked about the jump ball.

Usually one of us goes into the bathroom upon arrival and the other officials call out "U1", "U2" leaving the guy in the toilet to be the R for the night.
