3-Person Mechanic Question
For the opening jump ball, the U1 stands in front of which bench on the table side, home or visitor? Is there a diff between NFHS and NCAA men?
|
For the jump, U1 stands to the R's Left as the R is facing the table. This could be either the home or the visitor's bench.
Same in NCAA and FED. |
...you sure about that?
I thought the U1 stood opposite the visiting teams bench and the U2 stood opposite the home bench. NFHS EDIT: Found it...Official's Manual...3.1.4 A/B/C |

Usually one of us goes into the bathroom upon arrival and the other officials call out "U1", "U2" leaving the guy in the toilet to be the R for the night. :D

Thanks Bob.
