I've never had a buzzer bearer before. :p

Wow, I can only remembering it happening to me once, ever!

It's the guy who carries the buzzer into the gym. Kinda like a ring bearer. :)

Are you sure? My game still shows as active. I've been trying to get a hold of someone at the school to confirm, but no one is answering. I kind of hope my game is cancelled though, my drive this morning was not the easiest.

Generally no school = no game. My game shows active as well, but DPS is closed.

And the assigner received a complaint about the R from some college recruiter, who didn't like that the girl he was recruitting, got a few fouls called on her. Exciting stuff.

What?!?!? I hope JG replied with, "tell her to stop fouling!"

Not sure how he replied, but I submitted a report to him. I thought the girl had talent but she was definitely undersized and forced a lot of contact. Defenders were taller and often gave her a lot of problems by just standing there. If I was a college recruitter I would have viewed this as exactly how she will play at the next level.

I opened my HS season there, I was impressed with her outside shooting skills, but her drives to the basket & defense was suspect... too little. JUCO!

My kids are both home from school today (two different districts). Just looked in arbiter, and all the games in town are canceled tonight. It'll be interesting to see how tomorrow's games go. My understanding is that if there's no school, they can't play, but I don't know if that applies to the weekend when school is canceled on Friday. I've got a middle school tourney in the morning that was supposed to have games tonight. Not sure how that'll go either.

Shut up.
